Sobrez Raza!!!

Which would translate into. What’s up People.1!!

The video had a long time in my memory card. But I was lazy and didn’t take it off. So I finally did and upload it. Who know’s maybe this is the new “La Caida De Edgar” Or however you spell that. :)

I’m sick.

Just a quick vlog.

How to read comic books or manga on you’re iPhone or iPod Touch.

That’s a really long title.

Yay! Finally my first how to video. I hope you actually learn something. Because I worked really hard on this video.

This will show you how to read comic books or manga on you’re iPhone or iPod Touch, that are not available in the app store. No Jailbreaking required. This was a submission for the Howcast, how to video challenge. I’m sorry, while in pre production I noticed that I said Discovery, when the actual app is named Discover. I’m deeply sorry to the developers of Discover it’s an awesome app, and it’s free. btw, if you’re using .rar instead of .zip. Just rename it to cbr instead of cbz. In other words. .zip=cbz .rar=cbr. :) You got that ?? mmmkay.

Thanks for watching. :)

A little behind the scenes.
Ok basically what I did for this video was first record the audio for the tutorial. Then place it in a second layer in final cut. After that drop in the music, and drop it around -10db. And pump up my voice to about +10db. Then I took all the screen shot’s and edited them in place. And added motion, if needed. Then I saved the project and went to AE, to create the vide that appears after the Howcast intro, render that, then erase the comp, and create the Air Sharing Vs Discover (2:27). And finally, create the “Did you know movie” And place them into the edit. After that I went and shot all the video. But this time I did it a little different. I was listening to the tutorial. And as I listened to it. I shot the video, so listen, pause, shoot, edit, repeat. And after that was done. I had to render it in 640×380 (I think) and upload it to Howcast. And finally. Upload it to youtube. The only thing I’m missing is to upload it to my pixelpipe account so that it can be distributed across all my networks. :)
So you actually read all the way to the end huh? :D

Look at the sidebar!!

Look at it !!
Ok, so you might notice that there are some new logo’s up there. I found them snooping around a little bit on flickr. And found this great Creative Common’s Licensed photo set. With a bunch of chicklet’s. The images were made by I’m just Creative . He’s a great logo designer. I can’t believe he would give them out for free. Anyway, I just wanted to give my props to him. And give him credit for the logos. Because the CC states. That I can use them as long as I give props to the original author which I am.(by). I must not make money of, of them. Which I’m not(NC). And I must not build or alter the work.(ND) Which I’m not. So by all legal means I have the right’s to use them. Or not use them, but them In my blog and use them in the sidebar so that they link to my profiles. Ok bye now.
btw here’s some examples.

Tweetie for Mac

Hey, it’s been a long time since I have posted a blog here. But today I had to go of from my routine and post about this amazing new app called Tweetie (for Mac). We all know about the other amazing app also by the same name. Which came out for the iPhone a couple months back. The app was amazing in itself, and before anyone could give it a review, it became one of the most used Twitter clients for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’s simple, outstanding, and native interface. Made it a must get app. It’s “text message” like interface became very popular. Mostly due to that iPhone users were already custom to this. And thus making it an app, that applies to the “common” iPhone user. Among the iPod touch users, it became quite popular as well. Let’s face it. All iPod touch user’s are just iPhone wannabes. Including myself. If something were to describe this application for your mac. It’s, outstanding. It has all the features you need. And display’s them in such an elegant way. It’s hard to believe you are actually viewing your twitter.
Twitee

Updating it’s just a simple click away. Click at the bottom left hand corner, and “pop” goes the updater. It’s as simple as that, oh, what’s that you say? You want to shorten a URL. Copy the URL into the box and use alt+⌘+S. And you have a bit.ly URL, that’s by default. The app offers compatability with such services as bit.ly, tinyurl, is.gd(My personal favorite), tr.im, and the unapproved(by the community) Diggbar.

So you took a picture that you want to upload to Twitpic, no worries. Drag and Drop the pic to the updater box, and boom, a Twitpic, yFrog, Twitgoo, Posterous, URL appears right in front of you. All seems great for this app, but the mayor feature in this app is search. Now you can search on twitter, right from your desktop.

And best part you can have it for free, for as long as you want. Tough if you want to eliminate the ad’s you have to buy it. :) GO BUY IT !! NOW NOW NOW !!

My only complain is that it allowed you to post the photo’s you post on twitter, to your flickr account too. That would make this app, the most amazing app in the world. At least for me.
